What is your question?
I would like to know if there are ignition coils on cylinder #1, #3, and #5

Each cylinder has its own coil on the spark plug. What problem(s) are you experiencing?
Depending on the production date - it is possible there are 3 ignition coils that service the front 3 cylinders 2 - 4 - 6 directly - - in addition to the 3 rear cylinders 1 -3 - 5 by use of spark plug wires that’s also attached to each of the front 3 coils.. Visual inspection is required along with date of manufacture - posted on drivers door.
Later 2001 production dates will utilize one coil assembly per cylinder.. Can’t remember the exact dates but that information will be required for your inquiries.. Good luck!
date of manufacture on drivers door is 09/00. what visual inspection will determine if there are 3 or six ignition coils?
That particular production date is more than likely going to have 6 coil assemblies however it could be either way - - I do not have the specific production date the change was made. Otherwise you will see a *spark plug wire* attached to each of the front coils as well - that are then routed to the back spark plugs - this should be fairly obvious.
p0303, p0300, p0302 and I have already replaced coils and spark plugs on cylinder 2,4,and 6
