Help Toyota Sequoia overfilled with Transmission Fluid??

I found out my 01 Toyota Sequoia was overfilled with Transmission Fluid. After A short Road trip just before I made it Home. While driving up A Hill I noticed A burning smell and smoke coming from the rear of the Truck. I immediately had it serviced the next Day, Transmission fluid flush. I now have A humming almost A whistling sound, could my Transmission actually be on it's way out?
