my dash panel background lights are blinking

What is your question?

Not a constant problem about every three minutes the panel lights go on and off, tried decreasing nd increasing panel light control from low to high still have same problem. Does not matter if headlights are turned on or of.

What makes this problem better or worse?

nothing it just blinks
