Won't start, jumped it still won't start, checked oil and no oil on dipstick

Had been running good. Haven't had this problem before, Went shopping today and came out to car wouldn't start. All lights come on, even jumped it still wouldn't start. Checked oil and no oil on dipstick. Had no leak, where did all the oil go. Had to have it towed. It has not been making any noises. Haven't had no problem with vehicle before and have oil and filter changed every 3000 miles.
