What is your question?
My Toyota Rav 4 has some minor visible signs of an oil leak. No problems with the performance of the vehicle. Should the head gasket be replaced to prevent problems? The vehicle has only 49,000 miles but it is 13 years old.
What makes this problem better or worse?
nothing
How long has your 2005 Toyota RAV4 had this problem?
just noticed it

Unless symptoms of failed head gasket or cylinder head failure are present and *hands-on* testing proves that repair is necessary - then the answer is no .. Head gasket replacement is not considered routine nor preventive maintenance.
