why when fuel tank appears full,gauge reads only half full after fuel pump repla

yes..fuel pump incorporating the sender

sender is probably bad if not replaced when the pump was.

mechanics replaced pump with sender twice now under warranty.problem worsening

have the mechanics done a scan test on the cluster to check for gauge malfunction?does the pump quit pumping fuel also,or just the gauge quits working correctly?what brand of fuel pump or fuel pump module are they using?Airtex,Spectra,Delphi,Denso,Bosch ?

just gauge problem. will see mechanics in 13 hours and question them further.

Pump is Bosch. Gauge was checked. Are presently investigating the apparent 2 sides/carrying capacity of the fuel tank. It isn,t a long range fuel tank.
