engine wont turn off at idle after induction fuel system service
What is your question?
Check engine light went on. Mechanic ran diagnostic. Suggested fuel induction system service. (215K miles). Now, a day later, gas motor does not shut off at idle like at red lights or when in park. Battery reads fully charged. Heat/Ac off. Even when accelerating from 0 to 25 engine seems like its running at high revs. Finally after 20 miles, When I stopped in heavy traffic motor stops and electric motor is engaged. What the heck is happening here? Do I need to run it for a bunch of miles or something? It was working fine before this.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Left in park for 5 minutes and motor wont stop as usual
