What is your question?
Replacing a cat converter on this van! The Aftermarket item I am looking at says OBDII compatible...will this cat converter still work with the Old OBDI diag SYSTEM?? The O2 sensors are the interface with the OBDI diag SYSTEM sooo it shouldn't make any difference to the Actual Hardware...same size and shape from the PHOTO? I'm an Oregon resident so the EMMISION TESTING is no long a problem... the just want the part to work?? Any experience with this issue would be appreciated!

Is the converter restricted? .. IF no emissions testing and vehicle still runs ok, why replace it? .. My experience with aftermarket converters is it's pretty much hit or miss regardless of their clams, especially on Toyota's! .. Usually it's OEM direct fit or just don't bother... Good luck with it whichever way you decide to go!
@pushrod No restrictions... and yes it is a direct fit Mine is 20 yrs old no DOUBT Noisy Rattles horrible!! But yeah it's all about EMMISION and the Computer ck engine lite! I talked to the seller he said that designation just tells that it has the internal capacity to handle the OBDII parameters!! It's fine for the older OBDI system! I was just concerned that the actual hard ware had some different configurations that weren't compatible?? ie; ports for 02 Sensor! Guy reassured me it is the right part! Thanks so much for your prompt reply!!!
