I can't smog the car unless the idle is under 1000rpms...it's 1250rpms.

The mechanic said the adjusting screw has been turned all the way down...what other options do I have? Trying not to spend too much $$. Thanks.

look for vac leak that will cause high idle

If there's a leak can I patch it easily or do I need to replace the whole part...guestimation on cost would be nice to know? Is this something an amateur could pull off? Thanks...
