One reverse light stays on when lights are turned on

Have helper turn key on and shift into REVERSE (no other lights on) while you observe rear light - does reverse light show through the red tail light section ? .. IF so - there is a broken, dislodged or missing baffle between the tail light section and the reverse light section..
