Battery light still on after replacing a new battery

What is your question?

My battery light came on after a blown out fuse to the amp charger was pulled out. Highlander started fine and was taken to autozone to be checked out. Battery was pulling 50% and alternator was fine Replaced with new battery but light is still on. I turned car ignition switch on but not to start and battery light is on. I was told because it didnt go out, it's not the alternator. Help please
