I have a 2003 toyota highlander. The car will not go over 20mph no matter how much I press the gas. Then the gas fumes in the exhaust is very strong. What could be causing the car to not go a regular speed limit like 55mph?
What is your question?
It clicks when we try and start it. It will not catch until several tries (5-8 times). If it does not start then I usually have to get a jump off. Yet now it will not go more than 20mph.
What makes this problem better or worse?
it has slowly gone worse in the speed. We ran over a deer, yet it just added to the problems
