anytime you unhook the battery, the computer resets everything on you car.if you would have used a battery saver, before you unhooked the old battery, you would not have lost all the computer presets.no,you have no check engine light, but when obd11 is plugged up for inspection,it will show how many ready or not ready.you just have to drive the car.maybe 50 miles, maybe 250 miles, before all is reset.stop and go driving, highway driving, different speeds,a/c on,a/c not on,heat on, and not on.you can do a self test by holding the odometer trip button in while you turn key to run,not start, when it starts test, let go of the button, you may have to push the button to forward,or it may forward on its own.it should tell you how many ready, and not ready.
I finally went to a mechanic explained my situation and he took my car for drive and came back with my monitors cleared. It cost me $10.00 paid for as a tip. Took him 15 minutes.
