That figures....Can't say for your zip... Best call local repair shops for est. I can't even guesstimate! Can check eBay for trans $.!! Curious, what happened to it.. That's kinda rare!

212,000 miles...it just started making grinding noise then wouldn't go into gear...when forced into what should have been first gear...car lurched forward a bit and engine stalled when clutch was released...could be the clutch too?

That's MORE likely a clutch problem!!!!
