The main, front fan that keeps the engine from running hot.
no need to replace the fan,if it is working and keeping it cool.temp. sensor tells the fan when to come on and go off.it does not run all the time..
Apparently, it does have to be replaced because when it was replaced it stopped running hot ! Or, the temperature stopped increasing.
