code 741 came up on my tester

P0741 is torque converter clutch TCC stuck off. your vehicle is not going into overdrive.killing your gas mileage.
That is easy: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off. It has to deal with the Engine and Ignition and also the Gear Shift as well. You better take that to the dealer or local mechanic and tell them what it is, and have them do another FULL Diagnostic test to tell you if that code still appears or not. Hope this helps.
