DRIVE BELTS

Belts will show signs that they need to be replaced, cracks in the grooved or underside of them is a telltale clue!! Look with a flashlight where the belt bends around a backside pulley for signs of cracking.

belts usually give a clue. they squeal. rule of thumb is every time you change your tires. if they wear out prematurely, maybe a tension issue(tension arm, power steering pump, etc.)
