i have a 2003 corolla also with 145,000 miles on it never needed control arm.did you happen to be in a accident at any point?I just dont see that needing to be replaced unless it is bent.now maybe the bushings might need to be replaced.I would question this repair.
How much to replace a lower control arm & inner/outer tie rod assemblies. Firestone has quoted $700
