I have a broken door handle and when I tried to remove it the bolts are just spinning, not coming out at all. any advice on getting it off will be appreciated.

Put some masking tape on the painted area around the handle and wedge a dull butter knife between the handle and the body and turn the screw out at the same time you might need something thicker after a few turns of the mounting bolts
I looked at a video online. You will HAVE to do that to change them. it's quite complicated. In order to replace door handles you have to take off the whole inside door panel and then take off small plastic clips holding the linkage mechanisms in place. make sure you start early in the day and if possible make sure there is a similar car at a nearby junkyard so you can pick up some extra screws if you drop any inside the door. It was a really tough job for me, because it's really hard to reach inside and get to all the little parts -- and I dropped a couple of screws inside the door into oblivion (have a magnet extention handy to pick out parts)and one of the little plastic clips broke (i replaced 2 handles). But the parts cost me $20 and Toyota wanted $419 to put them on ($200+ just for two handles.) I also watched a video on how to take off the window crank metal clip thingee with a piece of rag instead of buying a separate tool -- worked great! And another tip, if you close the door before you are finished it will lock from the inside. make sure you leave other door unlocked and then you can manually pull back the rod on the inside of the door to open it. I "borrowed a part from a back door until I could get replacements clips, otherwise if one breaks you won't be able to open door from the inside!
