Is there any way to check if the fuel pump is out?

Toyota fuel pumps are very reliable.. More likely no ignition spark or failed timing belt. You will probably need a car savvy buddy to help you check these things out. .. It takes two people anyway so if you know an auto repair inclined person, ask for their help. Reply if more info is needed for testing.
