What is your question?
My grandsons 2000 Toyota Celica has been plagued with repeat code issues with O2 sensors bad, miss fire codes cylinder 2. Replaced all coils and plugs and injectors. Replaced O2 sensors twice. All this with in months. When replaced car ran good no errors. O2 sensor failed in 2 weeks and replaced again. This car does have high mileage but now thinking there must be something causing repeat errors possibly controller. I have working on my cars for 49 years and starting to think this is a common Toyota issue with this car. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Grandpa John
What makes this problem better or worse?
Keep putting parts in but then same errors return along with bad engine performance.
How long has your 2000 Toyota Celica had this problem?
6 months
Check for any contamination around rubber spark plug boot and correct if ANYTHING is found! Oil ponding in spark plug tube - reusing old rubber boots with new coils, etc.
