What is your question?
My AC fan started making a huge racket today! The lower two settings aren't really noisy, but they aren't very effective either. The two highest settings sound like the engine is about to fall out of the car! But it is actually coming from inside the passenger compartment it sounds like, passenger side near the glovebox. I am getting cool air so I'm pretty sure it's not a compressor issue. I googled "heater blower fan makes noise 1997 Toyota Celica" and found this website with answers to the same issue on a 1997 Toyota 4Runner that sounded exactly like what I'm experiencing. I read that rodents sometimes get in the blower fans and they have to be cleaned out. My Celica has sat in place for about 3 or 4 months after the alternator went out. I just got a new alternator out on and it was running great.. Now this sound..and I need COOL AIR!! My wife suggested something might have nested in the blower. I just need to know how to open it and get it cleaned out. Hoping that's what it is. Thanks for any and all help!!

How To Install Replace Heater AC Blower Fan …copy and paste link.this for a camry, should be about the same. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqhxNVaGcYU this is for 94-99 celica BELOW How to remove blower moter 94-99 gen 6 Here is how I removed the blower motor from my 95 GT: 1. Remove left kick panel below glove box on right side. There is a finger screw at the back that must be unscrewed then pull panel out and unsnap from door trim both top and bottom. 2. remove bottom screws on bottom left and right of glove box. 3. open glove box and remove three top screws. 4. the glove box top is held in by two clips. one is to the left of the top right screw while the other is to the left of the top left screw. 5. remove the three electric connectors from the top of the glove box. 6. There is a metal bar that runs behind the glove box on the left side that is held in place at the top and bottom with bolts, remove the bolts to remove the bar giving you space to remove the motor. 7. under the motor there is a black electric thing (that's a technical term) that is square and needs to be unplugged to get the motor out. 8. To the left of the motor is a white electric plug thing that is held in with one Phillips head screw. Unscrew and move out of way. I placed the screw back in it's hole till it was time to put the plug back. 9. There is a plug in the bottom of the motor that you can now remove by pressing the release button in and pulling the plug out. 9. The motor is held in with three bolts that can be removed using either an 8mm nut driver or a Flathead screwdriver. Remove the back one first, then the front, then the left side. 10. You can now remove the motor.
