Whether it is beyond 'reasonable' repair or not is strictly up to you! .. This will require hands-on inspection by an auto body and paint shop - plus a full service repair shop that does transmission repair as well to determine what the estimated cost will be. Many automobiles may appear to others to be too old and tired to restore//repair - however that is a matter of personal preference and funds available.
