How long should a car (new car) warm up in the winter before driving?

There is no protocol.... It's a matter of personal preference... Some like a good warm car to get in and drive..(like me!).. However it's not absolutely necessary to let the engine 'warm up' before driving... Doesn't hurt anything either way but warming up the engine is getting 0 mpg .. I can live with that to be comfortable! .. ▪️ BTW, if it 'were' necessary...it would be in the owners manual.▪️
