Brake clunk when release

Should be no clunk noise associated with applying or releasing the service brakes! Possible loose or missing brake mounting hardware. *Hands-on* inspection / evaluation will be required.

It is also possible that the brake pads are moving in the calipers a small amount. If everything is inspected and looks proper, some lubrication of contact points may temporarily relieve noise symptoms.
