What is the electrical plug on the front bumper for?

Most likely an 'optional' engine heater to keep engine warm, in winter, while parked for long periods, ie...(overnight). In 'cold' temps, engine will be warmed and car heater will be ready to go as well!.. IF used, just remember to unplug it before driving!!
