Is it worth paying $2500 to repaint and remove all scratches, dings and dents?

its up to you and how good the rest of the car is. 2500 is pritty high for that get a 2nd opinion maybe at one day or maaco they are normally 1/2 that.

I'm checking Kelley Blue Book and a 2000 Toyota Camry CE is about $4.4K at excellent condition while at $3.3K at fair condition. I really don't think $2.5K investment is really worth it. Think of it as more than 50% of what you can get for the car.
