What is your question?
Everything I have been told and seen has said to un screw radiator plug then flush. But I am confused because when I read my 1994 Owners manual for the car it says to not only unscrew radiator drain plug but also the engine drain plug.it shows one diagram with one engine drain plug the other has two engine drain plugs. There are letters that state engine example 5S-FE engine. Is there a reason it says to also loosen the engine drain plug. Sorry to be so ignorant I just want to do it the correct way the first time. Thank you..

my 2000 f150 has 2 engine block drain plugs, one on each side, factory put locktite on them and could be very hard to remove.how are you flushing your radiator out?just draining, draining and adding prestone or some kind of flush and refill with water and drive and drain and refill with coolant, or how do you plan to do it.if you dont remove or loosen the block plugs, however high up on block they are, that much will still be in there.some remove them if not to hard to get to and some dont.are you back flushing the heater core system in both directions also.
I was going to use Prestone flush+ cleaner the ten minute flush they call it. then flush with hose using water then refill with antifreeze and water.. I decided to do it because when I checked my levels noticed the radiator to be rusty inside. Never had overheating problems. When my pop passed I got the car He took very good care of it I am just trying to do the same.. Very limited on funds wanted to do it myself.. Thank you. So I guess just unscrewing radiator plug is ok. thank you for your help.
thank you for such a quick response. Yes i was very confused still do not understand why they put that in my manual... So just the drain plug it is thank you..
