What is your question?
Brake lights do not work. Problem started the same day I got visions electronics to install new stereo. No speakers were put in, just stereo. fuses are fine. Was it the result of error from the stereo technician? Does the brake line circuit run near stereo?

Hello, a wiring diagram would be needed to find out that detailed information. It would seem highly coincidental that the brake lights would suddenly stop working directly after the radio installation. One thing about brake lights is that they are active all the time, just like audio unit memory and lights. It's feasible that there is a related circuit in the area. It's important to note that when a radio is installed, wiring is usually modified to support the radio harness. Again, a wiring diagram is needed to determine what has been done and where to the wiring there. Or, better yet: have the installer recheck their work!
One ODD detail is the transmission should be LOCKED in the park position if the brake light circuit has been compromised.. This isn’t making any sense!
As you know - you must apply the service brake pedal before the transmission will shift from park - so if transmission is shifting from park either the lockout mechanism is broken or brake light circuit is intact - both are on the SAME circuit. *Hands-on* inspection / evaluation by qualified personnel is required - - ‘perhaps’ the radio installer fits the bill. Good luck!
Are you 100% positive it’s the BRAKE LIGHTS that are not working? Typically the TAIL LIGHT circuit is what the replacement radio illumination ‘mistakenly’ gets connected to.. Since the replacement radio has it’s OWN illumination circuit - this will blow the TAIL LIGHT fuse every time! Just saying.
