I have a 1992 Toyota Camry. The Temperature gauge is showing low temperature when it should not. The engine is not over heating. Could this be a bad temperature sensor or a stuck open thermostate.
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 1992 Toyota Camry. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
Hi,
It could be both. I would recommend bringing the vehicle into a repair shop to have the vehicle properly diagnosed so you are not installing the incorrect part on the vehicle. Both the temperature sensor and a stuck thermostat can cause the same exact concern on the vehicle.
Have a great day!
heater is working fine.
That should help with the diagnosis, I'll leave at that...
