first thing is how old is the key and when you turn off the car does the radio stay on as well if so on the steering is a lock button you have to press and turn the key. the reason for this in your key could be too worn and to test that is while the car is running see if you can pull the key out if so that is the issues I should know I have the same car and it use to happen to me
Problem fixed . When you turn off the car try to turn the key half way take the key out open the door if the clock turns off you are good all powers are off if not try again until clock turns off . I had the same problem I even changed the battery didn't help I tryed this it helped . I am sure while your driving you can take your key off of ignition with out shutting the car off . So try this I am sure it is going to work 100% good luck
Thank you so much for this! I've had to borrow my brother's car, and it's always dead in the morning. Wondering why the clock was turned on even with the car turned off and I had to slowly turn the ignition until the clock turned off.
