Had an older Sienna & never did any interior part "crack." My family all has Toyota vehicles...no cracking! This has to be a factory defect! If the dealer won't replace, gonna have to take it to the next level. What if the airbag should deploy...skeptical of anyone sitting in the front passenger.

this is not uncommon if your car sits in the sun alot. you can have it repair google it at see what pops up. your air bag will not deploy cause of this.in calif. we have several mobile guys that do a good job with this and they are busy
Yeah, sits in the sun but so did my other cars..use a sun shield, let the hot air out before turning on a/c & is in a cooler part of the isle due to being higher to mountains (more rainy where I am). Norm does not go over 90 degress. I was told that they use a different material now, supposedly softer - not as hard as earlier years. So, wouldnt the harder material be more susceptible to crack & a softer material be more pliable? 8 mos past warranty & the whole dash cost apprx 1,700+. Nuts, gonna pursue...didn't pay over 40K for this kinda thing to happen. Appreciate your take on this..wish I was in CA!
