My 2007 Toyota Avalon has a red keylight in the dashboard that blinks.

What is your question?

The blinking starts when I remove the ignition key and does not stop until I reinsert the ignition key. If I lock the doors the flashing light stops but stays lit. What needs to be done correct this problem?
