My son removed fuses an then proceeded to put em back in. Afterwards the start switch doesnt turn green when you push the brake

It sounds like your immobilizer may have forgotten the key id? Are there any lights flashing on the console?

Yup sounds like you'll need to get the transponder reprogrammed. Try another key first if you have an extra but it will probably have to get towed to a dealer. Some locksmiths can do it which would be cheaper and there's a chance it will work again if you can just clear the fault codes. May be something else but that's my best guess.
