What is your question?
I bought this Avalon @100k. The idle rpm has been high all the times. In the cold morning start, the rpm is about 2000. After driving a few minutes, rpm drops to 1100 and stay there since. The normal idle rpm for this car is about 700. I have replaced the spark plugs, pcv vlave and cleaned the throtle body. I am thinking about removing the throtle body and cleanout the IAC valve, EGR valve but not sure if that will do anything for the Idle rpm. Any idea?
What are covered in such scan test and what is the costs? If I leave the idle rpm the way it is now, do I have anything to worry about other than burning extra gas?
