The sound comes from the engine when it's started and while it is sitting and running, warming up.

you could have a bearing going out on a pully they have acheep stethascope with a rod on it to lesen for sounds get one nice to have and lesen for were its louder. can be cheep if it just a pully could be a waterpump also. not so cheep
I couldn't understand some of what you said but I think I got the main idea. It has to do with a bearing goin out on a pully or a bad waterpump. Thank you man
could be belt or any of the pulleys or belt driven assemblies
Okay, I wish I had by diagnostic tool out here. I moved across the country and my things are back where I used to live. My question was for my girlfriend's car, she's scared that it won't make it to or back from a diagnostic check. Thank you for the response
