someone tell me, oil leak.

I have a bad oil leak, been trying to find out where from, I was told to take the rubber hose loose from the front valve pan , so I did and it spit oil out all over the motor, this line went to air filter, ive had lots of oil in the air filter, can anyone tell me whats wrong plz,,, thanks,
