What is your question?
I took off the battery cable to keep it from running down. I can't figure out how to get to the light bulbs. Pulling the fuse disables a lot of other things. Anyone have a suggestion?

I think you have to push on the light itself to turn them on/off...., Is that what you call the buttons? Do they click as if turning off??
I don't have an answer but have the same problem! I removed the light cover bc the light would not turn off... And had to remove the lightbulb as well. The buttons aren't working, so I removed the fuse. Can the buttons be fixed without taking it in?
No, the buttons (one for each light) are on the outside a plastic cover which covers the bulbs. They do click but do not turn off the lights like they have for the last 12 years. I see no obvious way to remove the cover without breaking it.
Reason i ask is i have an 02 Camry that must be different becauce you just push on each light to turn on/off....for the last 12 years!. Can you pop the 'lense' off of the lights... got to be a way to access the bulbs and that is how it's done on every thing else.!!
Thanks, I'll try to pry it off and hope for the best. Later... Got the cover off without breaking it and removed the bulbs. Thanks.
Well Bill, something got to give!... I have not had to deal with this on any Toyota map lights.....yet! ... Is there an override on the center dome light? This is kinda unusual......Just saying...
It is unusual. Thanks for your help.
