Replaced plugs, wires and number 5 coil. Still have same problem. Could the injector be bad?

Could be faulty or need cleaned out....definite possibility. Hopefully, no issues with the cylinder itself. Is #5 coil and plug firing now? Follow #5 wire away from plug to the coil pack. The issue could be the connection there at #5 internally in the pack.
Yes , or intake leak (vacuum). OR possible valve /rings. TEST compression AND if needed VERIFY injector SIGNAL , BEFORE buying more parts that don't fix the problem. You did get ALL Toyota parts , right? Cheap parts could leave you chasing the wrong problem ( like a bad plug/wire/coil out-of-the-box).
