What happens if I use an A1 oil filter

It has to be the correct application for the car. If the filter is not designed for the car, it can cause too much pressure on the oil filter causing it to literally blow off, in turn causing the motor to seize.

Suggest using quality parts on your vehicle that are the correct application .. Recommend .. 'Toyota' .. Napa Gold.. Wix.. Fram etc.. as far as filters go... They don't cost that much more and could be the best money spent!

That vehicle uses a cartridge filter element. If the one you use was too small oil would bypass it and not be filtered.
