No spark , no fuel , or incorrect timing on air intake(valve issue)....how many miles on it? 4.7L V8? or 4.0 6Cyl.??BIG difference on possibilities............

About 70,000 miles... V6.... She had an issue with battery cable a couple weeks ago and someone put a new clamp on and battery... Could something there cause the car to cut off?

. yes , bad connection , if terminal was not cleaned properly. Blown main fuse , while messing with battery?
