What is your question?
On my 2001 Toyota 4runner 3.4l 4wd, when i brake, it pulls to the right. i brought it to 2 Toyota mechanics and both said it was the ABS pump/booster which cost like $2000 new. I have read online to check the ABS speed sensors, but would those cause it to pull to one side? The brakes work fine but i do avoid hard braking, cause that's when the pulling is more severe.

So these Toyota mechanics say it's the ABS causing the trouble... One question... Is the ABS light coming on when this happens indicating a problem exist?... I suspect it's more likely a problem with the..... ....... (Reply for answer.)
The check engine light along with Vsc trac off lights are on, but they've been on well before I had this symptom. No additional lights come on when I brake, runs and drives fine besides the pulling.
Suspect problem is in LEFT front brake... Right front is working properly but left front is not! .. IF equipped.. Can jack up front end, both wheels off ground and have someone lightly apply brakes with engine off... Try to turn each wheel to see if it's any more drag on right than left or vice versa .. Post results for more info.
sorry for the delay in response, only have time on the weekends. i did that test you requested and there both wheels spin the same, no more/less drag.
IF ABS, should have codes or can be tested with scan tool... I still suspect problem is on left brake... Caliper not sliding or brake pad coefficient of friction differential... Really need to test drive and do hands-on testing to be sure.
The first thing I did was replace the right side caliper, I'll do the left too.
Good idea.
