What is your question?
Early 3rd gen ABS sucks. I disabled mine by pulling the fuse under the hood (which the fuse block must be unbolted and the ABS fuse is held by a screw underneath). Many will say not to disable ABS, but it was the right thing for me because mine would kick on way too much and wouldn't stop my truck in a reasonable amount of time.
What makes this problem better or worse?
ABS problem

I did the exact same thing on my Chevy Blazer - I intend to keep it that way .. IF I want the wheels to slide on the pavement - I will do so! .. I was driving WAY BEFORE the antilock brake systems were even an idea - nary a problem that ABS would have helped with AT ALL.. *Yellow* ABS light illumination *will still pass* the state vehicle safety inspection regulations - (here in Virginia) - if the *red brake light* is on - now that's a different story! A professional scan test of ABS module - while vehicle is being test driven - live data screen will display ABS functions so the culprit can be found. I will leave it at that.
