The computer is shorting out and machanic is having a hard time finding one for a standard transmission . Should I just get the computer rebuilt. Where do I look for replacement computer for my 91 4 runner

The control module (computer) use be have same numbering as the original - so transmission use be same. Salvage dealers Most auto parts stores eBay Don’t really understand the problem locating a replacement.

Used module will have to be taken from vehicle with same engine - transmission and have the same numbers on it.
