Can trans oil get itself into the motor oil?

are you 100% sure that was the "transmission" dipstick tube you put transmission fluid in and not the oil dipstick tube,and maybe that's why the oil level is way over full now?

they replied back pretty quick on their 1st answer,but can't get no reply now? nothing on the transmission stick,they drained it! we've seen this a time or 2! i remember one guy.he said i'm mashing the gas pedal,tried it in every gear,won't move? don't know what happened,i drained the trans fluid,and now my oil is way over full?he put 7 quarts of trans fluid in with the oil and nothing back in the transmission?

YEP! .. That's more than likely what has happened .. Quick one, several years back this guy opened up a new service station, the same day my sister took her VW bug with the 'shiftomatic' transmission there to get the oil changed .. Trans fill and oil fill do look similar on those .. A helper at the station drained the engine oil but mistakenly added the new oil to the transmission .. Ruined engine AND transmission! .. Felt bad for the guy but that's business .. What a way to start out on the first day though... After some of the things I have seen over the years, I don't get supprised 'much' anymore .. Like that bumper sticker in Forrest Gump said > *Stuff* happens!

Well I thought I had mentioned that to ya befor, can't remember if the stories are exactly the same or not but the outcome sure as hell was! .. Dude had to buy her a new engine AND transmission plus do the install .. Now that's making money - on an 'oil change' !
