Has no power up a hill and hesitates. It is also very loud . What could it be?

Have a mechanic do an exhaust back pressure test to check for restriction!!!!!!! .... Also 'scan test' will help.... not just codes read at a parts store.

I would think the cats restricted. Remove the front o2 sensor and see if it does better, it will be louder, but does it go up a hill better.
