Put a new alternator on and a new battery and when i put the gas on it wants to stall if i push the clutch in quick then it will stay running

When I put it in gear and give it gas it wants to stall and then I push the clutch in I can keep it running put I cant drive it

What makes this problem better or worse?

When it's in gear it wants to stall in neutral it will stay running
