Did you replace the CRANK SENSOR? Crankshaft Sensor $ 109.00 /ea Part Number: CSS9122 Product Line: NAPA Echlin Ignition Parts
I had the same issue TWICE, repair shops replaced both sensors and still could not get the car to start. I had them put the old parts back in and did my own research and found the issue was the ECM. The first time I purchased a used ECM, put it in and it corrected the problem. The second time I "RE SET" the ECM to the factor settings. I did this by disconnecting the "Negative" side of the battery for 15 minutes. Then I reconnected the battery and the unit turned over. It seems that the ECM settings adjust to the seasons. Like a computer it needs to be rebooted from time to time to clear out error codes, clear memory etc. Doing this twice a year, Summer & Winter, is supposed to give you better mileage because the sensors adjust to the weather conditions. Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes RESETs the ECM and best of all It's FREE, so give it a try. Good Luck, I hope this help you and others..... Blessings, Soccer Pop
Yes, 2x
Ok, according to what you posted, you've replaced the crankshaft angle sensor (camshaft synchronizer) and then the crankshaft position sensor 2 times .. Two totally different parts.. That right?.
