If I drive it for a little bit it starts getting hot..I let it set and cool down and its good for a little bit longer..
What makes this problem better or worse?

Overheating is caused typically by either: 1) Engine thermostat not opening when required 2) Water pump not circulating coolant as required 3) Engine cooling fans not coming on when needed 4) Debris between the radiator and fans, or between the radiator and condenser 5) Air pockets in the cooling system due to a previous system repair 6) Internal engine coolant leaks Really not a lot else going on - so hands on testing is needed to check into these areas at the very least. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
