What is your question?
Hello, I'm considering purchasing a 2006 Subaru Outback H6 3.0L with 112,000 miles on it. Having a hard time finding an opinion on the engine. Is the H6 3.0L a good engine? Does it suffer the same fate as the 2.5L with the bad head gaskets? The car has had regular oil changes but could use a complete fluid refresh, air filters and plugs. Drives nice and is fairly clean of rust and obvious abuse. Any opinions? Thank you.

*Based on what I've seen at the shop* - the H6 is much more reliable than the 2.5 .. Just don't let that engine overheat and it should be fine. It has a timing chain instead of a belt, which I think is a plus - no inherent head gasket problems like the 4 cylinders - that I have seen. I personally do not like Subaru vehicles - because of the head gasket issues on the 4 cylinder engines, however plenty people obviously love em ... Then again, I guess I see more problems with them than most 'individual owners' would ever see.
